Clients keep falling 'off track'?
It’s not a discipline problem; it’s a coaching opportunity.
Let’s build the foundations that help clients stay consistent (even when the scale isn’t moving).
You’ll walk away with a clear understanding of what drives long-term motivation, how to help client's who feel 'guilty' after eating, and how to respond when they feel like they’ve 'ruined it'.

Our certifications didn't teach us what to do when:
Clients say they want to change, but keep falling off track.
You’ve tried adjusting the plan, adding more check-in questions, even giving them pep talks… but it still feels like you’re missing something deeper.
Clients are scared to eat enough and feel guilty after eating.
You’ve tried flexible macro ranges and reassured them it’s okay to have 'treats' - but they’re still stuck in food guilt and all-or-nothing thinking.
One setback leaves them spiralling - and then they ghost.
You’ve tried reframing and reminding them it’s just one day - but they shut down or disappear, and you’re left unsure how to actually help.
Let's change that shall we?
Here's what you'll learn inside Foundations of Flourishing:

LESSON 1
Why motivation fades (and what to do about it)
Understand the science behind client motivation and how to strengthen it using values - no 'stern talk' needed.
Learn to recognise the difference between surface-level goals and meaningful commitment.
LESSON 2
What food guilt and all-or-nothing thinking really mean
You’ll learn how to recognise when common client behaviours (like overthinking food choices, feeling guilty after meals, or stressing about going off-plan) are actually signs of disordered eating patterns.
Then, we’ll explore what to do about it in a coaching-safe, client-centred way.

LESSON 3
How to coach clients through setbacks
Learn how to spot when clients are stuck in self-criticism and how to respond with compassion that keeps them engaged.
Practice coaching skills that help clients reflect, reset, and keep going.

Hey, I’m Shannon!
When I first became a coach, I thought understanding nutrition and training was enough. But it didn’t take long to realise: clients don’t struggle because they don’t know what to do.
They struggle when they feel guilty after eating. When they think they’ve messed everything up. When their sense of worth is tied to what the scale says.
What they needed wasn’t more logic or flexible macro ranges.
They needed support that went beyond food and training plans - something that could actually help when they felt stuck, overwhelmed, or not good enough.
So I went deeper.
I became a Compassionate Mind Training facilitator, contributed to published research on self-compassion and body image, and completed my diploma in Compassion-Focused Therapy.
Today, I run Compassion Driven Coaching, where we help coaches move beyond surface-level strategies to support real, lasting change.
Foundations of Flourishing is your first step toward that.
Features & Academic Appearances

Body Image Fundamentals has been evaluated in academic research, with findings published in Body Image Journal (2025), SCAPPS (2024) and presented at the Appearance Matters Conference (2024).
You don't need to be a therapist to support clients more deeply.
But you do need to move beyond surface-level mindset work and generic behaviour change strategies, and start understanding what's really driving your clients’ struggles.Â

Ready to coach with more confidence?
Not in the 'I've got a new strategy, this will fix everything'Â kind of way -
but in the 'I’m starting to understand what’s really going on, and how to handle it' kind of way.
This isn’t another tool to add to a growing list.
It’s a simple first step toward feeling more equipped in the moments that matter most.
