Foundations is where your scope, your emotion systems, and raising body image or food concerns with a client go from things you'd freeze on to things you know how to handle.
THE COMPASSIONATE COACH INTENSIVE
Stop scratching the surface, and start changing lives.Â
A 16 week live training program building your skills to support client body image and relationship with food, so you can make the impact you got into coaching for.
You got into coaching to make a difference in people's lives.
Not to dish out macros and talk about fat loss all day, but that's what clients seem to want, and you don't know what to say when you sense they need the deeper work.
So you find yourself here:
The Encouragement Loop
You resort to being encouraging and trying to say the right things. It sounds good in the session, but nothing actually changes.
The Research Rabbit Hole
You've read the textbooks, watched the webinars, and spent hours studying the research. You still don't know what to say when a client is actually in front of you.
The Scope Tightrope
Terrified of making clients feel bad, causing harm, or saying the wrong thing, but just as scared of not doing enough to actually help - and wondering: could I be doing more?
You don't want to do more harm than good, so you fall back on what's safe, even though you know your clients' need body image work to see long lasting changes.
What would change if you could safely guide clients through the deeper work, and discovered the coaching potential you didn't know you had?

Duration
16 weeks
A structured intensive designed to help you build confidence and skill over time.
Live rhythm
First live call: Thursday 22nd October
Thursdays at 3:00pm CET for 90 minutes, with a 2 week Christmas break.
Format
Asynchronous + live + resources
Each week includes a self-directed module, a live integration call, and client resources to support the work.
Who this is for
A 16-week intensive for coaches and helping professionals who want to stop second-guessing what to say, and develop the skills to support clients with their relationship with food and body.
What to expect
Look, I love learning and feeling smart, but we need to go beyond theory dumps and knowledge-acquisition. CCI is a structured space to work on your own compassion and emotion regulation, develop coaching skills, and prepare for challenging client moments.
Each week you will have one live group meeting on Thursdays at 3:00pm CET for 90 minutes, alongside asynchronous modules, reflective practices and client resources.
Â
Don't worry about falling behind - you do not need to have completed everything to benefit from the live calls.
Specialised training for the moments standard coaching does not reach
When clients' food and body struggles are driven by shame and self-criticism, good intentions and behaviour change tools are not enough. This intensive gives you the science, skills, community, and client-facing confidence to meet challenging moments without freezing, overstepping, or fearing you will cause harm.
Inside-Out Approach
You move through the process yourself, using reflective practice to build the self-awareness, compassion, and emotion regulation that make deeper client work possible.Â
Experiential Practice
You will go beyond theory and practice responding to the most common client moments that trip coaches up, so you can build confidence in the real challenges your clients actually bring.
Deliberate Development
Develop through a clear process of understanding, reflection, and practice. Each cycle helps you integrate the work more deeply, so your coaching becomes more steady, and responsive.
Compassion Science
Provide an evidence-based, meaningful service with compassion and body image support. Help clients make deeper changes without pressure, shame, or restriction.
WHO THIS IS FOR

Make an impact
Macros bore you to tears and you're here to help people beyond fat loss. You want the specialised knowledge to build impactful programs and courses that reach people all over the world.

Meet Your Instructor: Shannon Beer.
Shannon Beer is the founder of Body Image Fundamentals, a training programme that has taught hundreds of coaches, trainers, and dietitians how to support body image in practice. The programme has since been backed up by research from the Body Image Journal and presented at the world's largest body image research conference Appearance Matters in 2024, solidifying its importance in the field.

The Investment CROSSROADS
Retraining, More Business Coaching, or the Deeper Work?
When your clients start ghosting, losing motivation, or obsessing over the scale, most coaches make one of two expensive mistakes trying to fix it. They either buy another business mentorship to fix their high turnover rate, or they look into multi-year academic retraining because they feel unqualified to handle the emotional weight of their clients' struggles.
Here's what you're actually choosing between:
| Â | Option A: Traditional Retraining Therapy Diploma / Master's |
Option B: High-Ticket Business Mentorship | Option C: The Compassionate Coach Intensive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Financial Investment | £6,300–£22,500+ (tuition, placement, supervision) | £6,000+ (average 6-month business mastermind) | £2,495 (founding cohort price) |
| Time Commitment | 2 to 5 years (rigid classes, 100+ unpaid placement hours) | 6-12+ months (focus on sales and marketing funnels) | 16 weeks (specialised training for your exact client base) |
| What It Actually Solves | Clinical pathology (diagnosing and treating severe mental illness) | Lead generation (more leads into a leaky bucket) | Client retention and results (the psychological blocks derailing your clients) |
| Business Impact | Major disruption (time taken away from your current business) | Short-term spike (more leads, same high client churn) | Immediate ROI (clients stay 12+ months instead of ghosting) |

You don't need to become a therapist to help your clients, and you don't need a business mentorship to attract the 'right' people.
You do not need to become a therapist, or commit to years of university study, to become a coach who can meet clients with more skill, steadiness and compassion.
Most nutrition and fitness clients are not asking you to treat a clinical eating disorder. They need a coach who can help them navigate hard body image days, shame, ambivalence, and the ups and downs of goal pursuit without punishing themselves or giving up.
The Compassionate Coach Intensive gives you evidence-based, compassion-focused tools adapted for coaching, so you can support deeper body image and self-relationship work while staying clearly within your professional scope.
Financial Upside
The Financial Upside: Specialised Services, Scaleable Assets, No Burnout.
The fitness market is flooded with generalists competing on price, while appearance pressures are rising. That's a massive population searching for a coach who offers more than macros.
Increase your rates
You stop competing with AI meal planners and macro coaches once you can safely navigate the psychological blocks they can't touch. Oh yeah, and we'll work on your money shame that says charging more = selfish.
Work with clients long term
Instead of clients ghosting when they don't see physique changes, doing deeper work means they get better results and stay longer, so you don't have to keep scrambling for new ones.
Expand beyond 1-1
Use your specialised knowledge to create workshops, courses and group programs, so your income isn't capped by how many hours are in your week, and you can support more people at once.
THE IMPACT YOU CAN MAKE
What coaches are saying
Results from previous coach trainings.
"I finally know which tools to use and when.
I didn’t understand why clients kept fixating on the scale or calories when they knew it wasn’t helping. I was missing the tools to challenge them with empathy, active listening, and more confidence.
Now I understand negative and positive body image, how disordered eating connects to it, and how to apply the right coaching tool at the right time. Clients stay with me for 6–12 months instead of ghosting, and my business feels more financially stable."
DAJANA SMOLNIK, REGISTERED DIETITIAN + BODY IMAGE COACH
"I finally have the body image roadmap I was missing.
I could help clients see that their approach wasn’t working, but I didn’t know how to actually guide them through change on a deeper level. I had no structure for supporting someone with body image, so I kept hitting the same obstacles again and again.
Now I use a clear roadmap to support clients through body image struggles with confidence. It has led to longer-lasting results for them, and far more enjoyment for me as a coach."
STU GRAHAN, HEALTH COACH
"Coaching feels more fulfilling now.
Before, my clients would get fixated on the scale, lose motivation, and often ghost. I thought the problem was adherence, but I was missing the deeper piece: body image.
Now I can support clients with body image, emotional regulation, and self-confidence. They’re not just sleeping better or having more energy. They’re going for promotions, joining new sports, and showing up in their lives in ways they never thought possible."
AMANDA MERCER, ONLINE NUTRITION COACH
The fitness industry doesn’t need more quick fixes. It needs coaches willing to go deeper.
